FMS: How to Plan and Set Money Goals

Jane Kenyon and Katherine Evans will lead this workshop focused on helping you build important money skills that become the foundation for your financial stability and success. You will understand how to plan for and set reasonable money goals and create a budgeting path to achieve them, allowing you to begin to understand and take control of your financial well-being. CORE

   Wednesday, January 17, 2018     6:00 – 8:00 pm 

   

Bibi Ali, from Amalgamated Bank, will lead this workshop and provide an overview of different types of financial institutions, deposit accounts, and banking services. This workshop will be held at Amalgamated Bank. Address and details will be provided after registration. ELECTIVE

 

  


 

  

FMS: Understanding the FICO Score and your Credit Report

   Monday, January 22, 2018     6:00 – 8:00 pm 

   

Tami Peter will discuss the factors that make up a FICO Score and what really appears on a credit report. Clients must bring  a copy of a recent FICO Score/credit report.  If you do not have a recent score (within the past 6 months) you can get your reports and scores at www.myfico.com. If you would like assistance getting your scores and reports you may make an appointment with Pam Kulnis no later than Tuesday, January 16. Bottomless Closet will reimburse the cost of the service if you submit a receipt. This workshop is a pre-requisite for the Debt Management workshop in September. CORE

PES: Accessories: How to Change Your Look and Save Money

Lorie Reischer and Phyllis White will help participants learn how to make the most of their wardrobe by using accessories. Please bring a favorite item of clothing with you that you want to accessorize. This workshop will be a fun and interactive session. (Space in this workshop is very limited.)
