PDS: Resume 101

Professionals from Standard Chartered Bank will lead this workshop focusing on creating a resume and impactful cover letters. Participants will gain a good understanding of how to write a resume, specifically one that can be uploaded and/or emailed. and how to explain your work history in the most effective wayThis session will take place in Midtown at Standard Chartered’s office. Address and details will be provided after registration. CORE





PES: Kundalini Yoga

Come to Kindalini Yoga. Kundalini Yoga balances the glandular system, strengthens the nervous system so we can be in control of ourselves, rather than being controlled by our thoughts and emotions. Kundalini Yoda invites us to think out of the box and develop our intuition.

Jane Kenyon and Katherine Evans will discuss the basics, benefits and risks of credit and credit cards and how to establish good borrowing habits.  You will gain an understanding of the basics of a credit score, how to evaluate credit card offers and prevent identity theft. ELECTIVE

FMS: Setting Goals and Creating a Budget

Rachael Grubin will help attendees develop short, medium, and long-term financial goals and plans for the year and build a budget to achieve them. Clients are asked to bring a copy of their recent bills (credit card, utilities, etc.). ELECTIVE






PES: How to Change Your Look and Save Money

Brigitte Nioche will help participants learn how to make the most of their wardrobe by using accessories. Attendees will receive 1 accessory to complement their current wardrobe. (Space in this workshop is very limited.)






PES: Make-Up and Styling


   Thursday, October 26, 2017      6:00 – 8:00 pm


Nykia Rosario is a hairstylist and make-up artist who will help with tips and tricks on how to look your best.  Learn how to bring your own best features with a little make-up and hair styling tips. We all know when we look good, we feel great. Session limited to 25 attendees but additional sessions to be scheduled.





FMS: Investments 201


 Thursday, November 2, 2017     6:00 – 8:00 pm 


How do I make the right investment choices? My company offers a 401k or 403b plan, but I don’t know what to choose. Robyn Polanski will get you comfortable with understanding the basics of investing and making the right investment allocation for your particular needs. You can make sure you are saving enough for retirement. Participants need to have attended the October 12th  Investing 101 workshop in order to attend this session  ELECTIVE

Katie Fogarty will lead this hands-on presentation and Q & A for creating powerful, professional LinkedIn profiles, and will provide tips and strategies for using LinkedIn to job hunt. Participants will learn how to quickly and easily craft a profile that captures and communicates their professional experience, helps them look for a job, and grows their professional network. All will leave armed with profile must-haves, pitfalls to avoid and strategies for leveraging LinkedIn for job hunting and professional networking.  ELECTIVE
